I've got a chair, you've got a bed,
We've got a dream or two running through our heads,
You can't cook, and I don't care,
What else is there?
I've got a car, you've got a room,
We can talk all night or make love by the moon,
Feel the love in the air,
What else is there?
Chorus:
People talk about troubles
Till there blue in the face,
Run around in circles
That's the whole human race,
I've got my own life figured out,
You're the sweetest thing I've ever found,
God's smilin' down,
What else is there?
You've got this calm, I'm kinda crazy,
Might be a real cool combination in a baby,
Your eyes, my hair,
What else is there?
Chorus:
People talk about troubles
Till there blue in the face,
Run around in circles
That's the whole human race,
I've got my own life figured out,
You're the sweetest thing I've ever found,
God's smilin' down,
What else is there?
Years from now, even then,
We'll get old and maybe go to bed by ten,
I'll hold your hand to climb the stairs,
What else is there?
Oh, What else is there?
What else is there?
What else is there?
What else is there?
What else is there?
(You know what we're talkin' about...)
What else is there?
What else is there?
What else is there?...

Steve married Judy
And then they had two kids
The girl looked like her momma
And the boy looked just like him
The bells and the time and the daily crime seemed to drip away the bomb
Steve felt he was missing that, and got tired of hanging home
He came home late from work and just stood by the bed
Judy asked him why, he just passed and said
The way it isn't always easy, the way it isn't always fair
Now just because the way things are don't mean that I don't care
Now I've found someone who loves me
You know the feelings that I miss
But it's not the way I planned it
That's just the way it is
Steve picks up the children, every other Saturday
Tries to play the part time dad and make it all okay
Sea sauce and the hotdogs and the dripping icecream cones
Sunday comes before they know, it's time to take them home
He doesn't have the answers lookin' in their teary eyes
He just tries to be strong and in his own way apologize
The way it isn't always easy, the way it isn't always fair
Now just because the way things are don't mean that I don't care
Know I'll always love you and I promise you'll be missed
But it's not the way I planned it
That's just the way it is
Steve steamed a romance, Steve ride into the rocks
He swallowed up all his pride and gave Judy's door a hug
Said I caused you pain with my selfish games
And the chanches all I want
Judy just suggard him and said I'm tired of hanging home
I cried for you, I cried for us and now I'm thinking about me
I don't quite know, how to tell you Steve
The way it isn't always easy, the way it isn't always fair
Now just because the way things are don't mean that I don't care
Well I've found someone who loves me, and is wonderfull with kids
Though it's not the way I planned it
Steve I hope you uderstand it
That's just the way it is

If I'd a seen her comin'
I'd a prob'ly tried to hide
But I came around the corner
She caught me by suprise
There was no ice cold shoulder
There was no ugly scene
She smiled and didn't say the things
I thought she'd say to me.
Well, it was nothin' like that rainy night
She left and slamed he door
Not only she don't love me
She don't hate me anymore.
Well I felt like some old neighbor
Just some guy that she once knew
You'd never know she loved me
And I broke her heart in two
Was she hidin' her emotions
Did she really get that strong
Right then she turned and introduced me
To her new friend Garth.
And I could tell the way he shook my hand
He'd never heard of me before
Not only she don't love me
She don't hate me anymore.
--- Instrumental ---
(Spoken)
No, there was no ice cold shoulder
And there was no ugly scene
She just smiled and didn't say the things
I just knew she'd say to me.
Yeah, she got so caught up in him
My memory's gone I know
Not only she don't love me
She don't hate me anymore.
And I know it might sound crazy
And I don't know what hurts me more
Is it the fact that she don't love me
She don't hate me anymore.
Not only she don't love me
She don't hate me, anymore...

It's living int he moment today
Got down ont he floor and played with my little girl
For a little while
It's crazy how much she's grown
It seems last I looked she was so small but she sure ain't now
But she's around that age her first memories are made
Oh I remember being that young once
I think it was yesterday
Time flies
Blows by
Feels like
I've missed so many things
Time flies
And sometimes
God I wish you'd clip it's wings
Another day is winding down
There you stand in that cotton gown
The one you wore when we first made love
Back when this was just a dream, no house, no kids
The only thing we had then was us
And babe I can't help but miss that now and then
'Cause all those old tomorrows
Ain't coming back again
Time flies
Blows by
Feels like
I've missed so many things
Time flies
And sometimes
God I wish you'd clip it's wings
Time flies
God I, God I wish you'd clip it's wings
God why can't you clip it's wings
Time flies
Time flies

You wake up, your hair's a mess
You're all legs in my old t-shirt
Ah, that's when you look the best
Oh, I luv ya
Fuzzy slippers, coffee mug
Rubbin' your eyes you say don't look
I swear I could eat you up
Girl, I luv ya
Chorus:
You don't need no red dress Mama
You don't need no big hairdo
A natural born beauty just the way you are
With twenty-two freckles and a rose tattoo
Out in the garden in garden gloves
Dirt on your cheek, A smile on your face
In the middle of buttercups
Baby, I luv ya
Chorus:
You don't need no red dress Mama
You don't need no big hairdo
A natural born beauty just the way you are
With twenty-two freckles and a rose tattoo
Cindy Crawford, she's all right
Julia Roberts, ah she just ain't my type
You on the couch in them old levis
Girl, I luv ya
Just what you are
Just what I like
God, I luv ya

Pick up the phone
I know you're home
I see your silhouette
From this rainy pay phone booth
I didn't mean what I said
I'm sorry I snapped and lost my head
Those angry words were so far from the truth
Chorus:
Baby, I still believe in love
Baby, I still believe in both of us
I'd die before I'd ever let you go
Until you're in my arms again
I'll fight for you 'til the very end
I still believe
Bridge:
I was wrong and I admit it
Hey, I was out of line
Now I pray my heart
Somehow can change your mind
Chorus:
Baby, I still believe in love
Baby, I still believe in both of us
I'd die before I'd ever let you go
Until you're in my arms again
I'll fight for you 'til the very end
I still believe

(Jude Cole - Billy Ray Cyrus)
I hear your footsteps down the hall
I check my messages but I don't hear you call
I think of days gone by and now I wonder why you left me
But I can't go on without you, without you.
Sometimes I wander on my way
Sometimes I just break down and pray
Sometimes I think of you and I don't know what to do
And I wonder how I will go on without you
How I will go on without your love
Without you, no, I can't go on without you
Without you.
I can't stop missin' you, oh, if I only knew, do you miss me
'Cause I can't go on without you, I can't go on without you
I can't go on without your love
Without you, no, I can't go on without you.
No, I can't go on without you.
Oh no, no, no.
I hear your footsteps down the hall
I check my messages but I don't hear you call.
And once again I'm all alone without you
No, I can't go on without you,
No, I can't go on without you.
No, I can't go on without you,
No. I can't go on without you...

You heard the boss man call
I dread when that phone rings
Everytime... It's the same ole thing
I gotta job to do
But that's the easy part
What's really killin' me
Is this broken heart
Chorus:
You're hard to leave
Tough to go
A heartache's ahead
This I know
Missin' you
More than the air I breathe
Easy to love
But hard to leave
Bridge:
This heart of mine
Is cold and blind
It just wants to find
Your hand in mine
Chorus:

Nobody came one night in May
No one to love her on that day
Story goes the rest
Is just a shame
There was no mothers open arms
No daddy there to shield her from the harm
Just another face without a name
Nobody wins...nobody gains
Nobody there to keep the baby from the rain
It's so unfair.....we all lose
Nobody there to sing a lullaby a love song or the blues
Nobody wins
Years passed and young got old
Things happened, nobody knows
Father Time stole her life away
They found her in an alleyway
A cold night in the month of May
And nobody....shed a tear...
Nobody wins....nobody gains
Nobody there to keep the baby from the rain
It's so unfair...we all lose
Nobody there to sing a lullaby a love song or the blues
Nobody wins

When I was just a little boy,
I wandered through the woods
Searchin' for my daddy through the pines.
I guess I took a wrong turn
Somewhere along the way
But the Bible said
"Seek and ye shall find"
Daylight turned to darkness
Adventure turned to fear
And, when I found my way back home
His words I still can hear...
Chorus:
Stand Still!
When you're in the dark.
Listen to your heart
And pray for Gods will
Stand Still
Adrift in the wind...
Your voice within
Will be your best friend
Stand Still... and pray
Stand Still
Now that I'm a grown man
On my own and on my way
I've got my own decisions to be made
And when I'm at the crossroads
Unforsure and unforeseen,
I bow my head
And with these words I pray.
Chorus:

It ain't natural for a delta man
To be surrounded by all this sand
To fear the echoes of live rounds
And to never sleep when the sun goes down
So I'm writing you this letter
To say I miss you more than ever and to promise you this
WHEN I MAKE IT BACK TO MEMPHIS
I'M GONNA TAKE YOU IN MY ARMS
AND NEVER LET YOU GO
AND GIRL I PROMISE YOU A KISS
FOR EVERY DAY WE'VE MISSED
'TIL I MAKE IT BACK TO MEMPHIS
I'll have to say I think we've done some good
If I had to do it all again I know I would
There's still a few shots every now and then
But they say this thing is finally coming to an end
So this might be my final letter
I say the sooner the better cause I'm ready to come home
WHEN I MAKE IT BACK TO MEMPHIS
I'M GONNA TAKE YOU IN MY ARMS
AND NEVER LET YOU GO
AND GIRL I PROMISE YOU A KISS
FOR EVERY DAY WE'VE MISSED
'TIL I MAKE IT BACK TO MEMPHIS
She reads his letters everyday, then she puts them all away
Next to his medal and a flag, that she would gladly give back
IF IT WOULD BRING HIM BACK TO MEMPHIS
SO HE COULD TAKE HER IN HIS ARMS
AND NEVER LET HER GO
CAUSE SHE'S STILL WAITING FOR A KISS
FOR EVERY DAY THEY'VE MISSED
'TIL HE MADE IT BACK TO MEMPHIS
BACK TO MEMPHIS

I knew a man called him Sandy Kane
Few folks even knew his name
But a hero was he
Left a boy, came back a man
Still many don't understand
About the reasons we are free.
I can't forget the look in his eyes
Or the tears he cries
As he said these words to me.
All gave some and some gave all
And some stood through
For the red, white and blue
And some had to fall
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties and recall
Some gave all.
--- Instrumental ---
Now Sandy Kane is no longer here
But his words are oh so clear
As they echo through out our land
For all his friends who gave us all
Who stood the ground and took the fall
To help their fellow man.
Love your country and live with pride
And don't forget those who died
America can't you see.
All gave some and some gave all
And some stood through
For the red, white and blue
And some had to fall
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties and recall
Some gave all.
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties
And recall, some gave all.
Some gave all...
