Much greater then the sum of the parts
And nobody's waiting outside

I felt deceived I hid behind the sun
Its time to take the gun out of life
Do be da do be da doo

Every scene is like the one before
It's time to close the doors on myself
As the past becomes the future
It gets clearer that it still boils down to love and peace

Give me some peace
Please give me some peace

Back to being who I was before
Open up your door, hold me now
Give me some peace, hold me now
Give me some peace, hold me now
While everybody's waiting outside

. . .

Never had an easy love
Never had an easy love
Like the one I'm dreaming of
Find a hand that fits the glove
Of love
Of love

Talking to a friend yesterday
It was good to hear him say
That although two years had passed
Still felt like she could ask
Of my time, of my time
Seems I did something right
Something right

Looking for another pearl

Summertime In Wintertime

[No lyrics]

. . .

I told you about twenty years ago

Do you know what true romance is
And could you show me now
Just what would be the chances
That I could tell you how
If I new where all the tears were flowing to
I'd guide them to a river
Where I'd swim with you down stream
This is that old dream
I told you about twenty years ago

And could you hold me now

. . .

When that bell rings
An angel gets its wings
And if I pushed
Would you all fall down?
Coz I don't need this on my back

The hatred will tear us apart
If you don't do what you did at the start

Should I go or will you stay
We'll find a plan of attack
There's a price to pay
For showing no reaction
To all the simple things
In time you will know what I know
But for now you win

The hatred will tear us apart
Another devil will take out your heart

But when we sing
I hear another devil dies
When that bell rings
An angel gets its wings
And if I pushed
Would you all fall down
Coz I don't need this on my back

It seems like we've weathered the storm
Without having the privilege of calm

*massive audience applause*

The Blossoms

[No lyrics]

(One, one, one, one, one, one.
One, one, one, one, one, one)

June is on the run for so long
Pushed and pulled then shunned
It was so wrong
These fours walls crashing in won't stop me now
Cause I'm alive, I'm out tonight, all night

Everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat
Every day we've got to hold on
'Cause if we hold on we could find some new energy

Streets with flags unfurled like treasure
Thank me for my words, it's a pleasure
Just don't ask me to stay 'cause I'll be gone
But it's alright I'm OK - always

Everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat
Every day we've got to hold on
'Cause if we hold on we could find some new energy

One plus one is one - together
One plus one is one - forever
One plus one is one - together
One plus one is one - forever

Everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat
Everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat
Everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat
Everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat
Every day we've got to hold on
'Cause if we hold on we could find some new energy

"One plus one plus one plus one is four"

"One"
"Plus one"
"Plus one"
"Plus one"
"Four"

. . .

Come on, take it with you, you can pass it on
Come on, you know I'm not the kind to say that it's over
We'll be rubbing shoulders once again in the sun

Come on, take your dreams, where nobody can find them
Come on, you know I won't be happy till you've won
So come on, come on over, borrow my clover
Is there anything left that you haven't done

Go on do what you've got to do
You've got your dreams
I've got mine too
Be strong get off at the next stop
Don't worry about a thing
Keep taking it easy

. . .

Bet you wish you knew what time it is
And it's clear that you don't
Understand a love that requires fewer words
It's been a while since we spoke
But there's still hope
If we materialise the myth
Never trivialise the kiss
Oh it feels like there's no fire left in your eyes
This is how love dies
This is how love dies

. . .

And I don't know how to tell
Is it heaven or hell
That I'll be going to
Just as long as I'm there with you

There's a clock ticking slow on the table
As the light finds the cracks in your door
Make a break
Just as soon as your able
To run, hold on to your soul
Before it takes you whole

I don't know how to hide
I keep my shadow alive
It's easy to defend
The logic of a friend
And I don't know how to tell
If it's heaven or hell
That I'll be going to
Just as long as I'm there with you

Life Turned Upside Down

[No lyrics]

. . .

Summer feels like it's over
Winter is on the way
Summer takes all the glory
Blue skies are turning to grey

To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die
To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die
To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die
Like when I heard silence is golden and I never saw why

Summer feels like it's over
Winter is on the way
Summer takes all the glory
Love songs get in the way

To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die
To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die

Summer feels like it's over
Winter is on the way
Summer takes all the glory
Blue skies are turning to grey

To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die
To live in the hearts of those that you loved is not to die

. . .

Do you know where we're going to
Do you know what we will do when we arrive
As I wait for you to set sail
Don't you know that I hope you find your holy grail

Suffered in silence so long
Don't you know it's easy to see where you went wrong
You forgot you've got oxygen running through your veins

Suffered in silence so long
Can't you see it's easy to know where you went wrong
You forgot you've got oxygen running through your veins

Do you know where we're going to
Do you know what we will do when we arrive
As I wait for you to set sail
Don't you know that I hope you find your Holy Grail

. . .

There's a movie
Normally I'd call that a film
But it moved me
And that didn't rhyme with film
See this film, it only had one scene
My recollection fades
It may just have been a dream

There was a dragon teaching women to breathe fire
A long line of men being made to walk across this high wire
If they fell off to their deaths, they'd be martyred on the spot
If they made it to the other side, someone shook their hand and they were shot

Isn't that just the way it's always been
I say all men are equal
No man should be king
Or play God, define sin, or watch Hollyoaks
Big Brother needs to end
Let's hope this one's the last
