Arctic Monkeys Announce Sheffield Don Valley Bowl Gigs

Arctic Monkeys have announced details of two huge hometown gigs in Sheffield this summer.

The band will play Don Valley Bowl on June 10 and 11. The gigs are their first confirmed UK shows of 2011.

The opening date will feature support from Miles Kane, The Vaccines and Dead Sons, while Kane, Anna Calvi and Mabel Love will perform on the second night.

The gigs will see Arctic Monkeys perform songs from their soon to be released new album.

Tickets – priced £32.50 – go on sale on Friday (February 11) at 9am.
