Arcade Fire To Broadcast New York Gig On YouTubeJuly 21, 2010
Arcade Fire are set to stream their performance at New York's Madison Square Garden next month on YouTube.
Fans will be able to watch live as the band play songs from their forthcoming album 'The Suburbs'. The gig, on August 5, is the second of two shows at the venue. You can watch a trailer for the concert, which shows the band members as puppets, below. ‘The Suburbs’, which is due to be released on August 2 with eight different covers, was produced by Markus Dravs. The band previewed the album at a one-off show in London earlier this month. Frontman Win Butler said in a recent interview that he was “really excited” with the follow-up to 2007’s ‘New Bible’.
