Radiohead Go On Tour With Arcade FireJuly 30, 2008
Arcade Fire gave Radiohead a special guided tour of Montreal when the band last played in the city, it's been revealed.
Radiohead's bassist Colin Greenwood said the two group's shared bagels and coffee on the steps of a church in the Mile End area of the city. Their meeting came after Arcade Fire watched Radiohead's two dates in Montreal in 2006. Speaking to The Montreal Gazette, Greenwood said: “We went to some bar - this European Community Centre - and watched football during the World Cup. "They came and saw both shows. They took me, Ed and Phil to see some gaming/Dungeons And Dragons thing in the park, then we walked to the top of the hill and looked down across Montreal with them. “We talked to Regine and Win (Butler) about life and touring. It was really cool." (by Jason Gregory) See also: Radiohead Record Store Day Release Leaks Online (14.04.2011)
