Eels Invite The Queen To Royal Festival Hall GigFebruary 19, 2008
Mr Mark Oliver ‘E’ Everett has personally written a letter to Her Majesty The Queen inviting her to attend the Eels’ Royal Festival Hall show next week.
The singer says that although he has performed several shows at the prestigious London venue, the royal box has always been empty – something he hopes to rectify. E jokes that although the February 25 show is completely sold out, he’d “would be happy to put you on the guest list.” The letter continues that he also has a book and a CD that he’d be more than happy to sign for Her Maj directly after the show.
