Eminem is set to become only the third artist in history to earn more than one billion views on YouTube.

The rapper's video channel currently has over 999m views and is expected to reach the milestone later today (February 21).

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are the only other musicians with more than one billion views.

The teenage star's videos are the most popular with over 1.3billion views, and, on average, increase by 25m views each week.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is also on course to reach the billion views landmark within the next two weeks.

Eminem is also the second most-popular artist on Facebook behind Lady Gaga. Both artists have over 25million fans on the social-networking website.
