Lupe Fiasco Announces New Album 'Lasers'February 1, 2011
Lupe Fiasco has announced details of his new album 'Lasers'.
The rapper's follow-up to 2007's 'Lupe Fiasco's The Cool' is due to be released on March 7. It will be preceded on February 21 by the single 'The Show Goes On', which includes a sample of Modest Mouse's 'Float On'. Fiasco's record label Atlantic was pressed into giving the album a release date following a petition by fans. In October, the campaign led to a large group of fans gathering outside the record label's offices in New York demanding for it to be released. 'Lasers' is Fiasco's third album and includes production from Alex Da Kid, as well as vocals from Skylar Grey.
