Nas Praises Kanye West For Keeping Hip-Hop AliveJanuary 12, 2011
Nas has revealed that Kanye West is the main man to beat in Hip-Hop at the moment.
The New York rapper, who returns with a new album later this year, spoke about his love for Kanye's 'Monster'. "Nicki Minaj, Drake, Ross and Kanye just came to just kill it off. You know, they did their thing. They kept this thing alive," Nas told MTV. He added: "People like Kanye is brilliant, so when Kanye is out there doing his thing, he’s entertaining all audiences and he’s keeping it hip-hop at the same time. Nobody does that but him." Meanwhile, Nas and Damian Marley have announced details of a UK tour, which will take place this year. (by Holly Frith) See also: Katy Perry, Kanye West Perform 'ET' On American Idol (22.04.2011)
