Former X Factor stars JLS are set to film a 3D movie, according to reports.

The boy band are understood to be eager to start work on the project in a bid to capitalise on their devout fanbase.

"The boys are keen to do a movie, it's the next logical step,” a source told The Sun.

"JLS have a huge fanbase who are bound to lap this up and see the film over and over again in the cinema, as well as buying it when it comes out on DVD. The lads can't wait to start shooting."

The film will mark the latest side project for the group, who launched a range of JLS condoms last year.

The band, who are currently on tour, are also due to release a clothing line this year.
