Boney M Star Bobby Farrell Dies Aged 61Boney M star Bobby Farrell has died at the age of 61, it has been confirmed.

Farrell was found dead in a hotel room in St Petersburg, Russia.

His agent John Seine told BBC News the disco star had complained of breathing problems before and after a gig in the city on Wednesday (December 29).

His cause of yet has yet to be established.

Born in Aruba, Farrell began working as a sailor aged 15, before being chosen to front Boney M in 1974.

The group achieved huge acclaim with songs including ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Rivers of Babylon’, both released in 1978.
