Damon Albarn To Appear At London 2012 Olympics FestivalDecember 7, 2010
 Damon Albarn is set to take part in the London 2012 Festival ahead of the Olympics.
The Blur frontman will work alongside Gorillaz collaborator Jamie Hewlett and theatre director Rufus Norris. The festival will be part of a number of events leading up to the Olympics 2012, running from June 21- September 9. Other artists that are also set to appear are actress Cate Blanchett, David Hockney, Mike Leigh and Jude Law. Meanwhile, Albarn and Hewitt have raised questions over the Gorillaz long-term future.
