Foo Fighters Confirmed To Play T In The Park Festival 2011December 2, 2010
Foo Fighters will headline next year’s T In The Park festival in Scotland, it’s been confirmed.
The band, who had long been rumoured to appear, will top the bill on the main stage at the event, which runs from July 8-10 at Balado near Kinross. Festival director Geoff Ellis said: "Once again we are proud to bring one of the world's biggest and most influential rock bands to Balado. "As well as being a personal favourite and a band that T in the Park fans continually praise, Foo Fighters are one of the best festival headliners on the planet and I'm delighted we have them for T in the Park 2011." Foo Fighters are expected to showcase their forthcoming and as-yet-untitled new album at the festival, which will follow their appearance at the Isle Of Wight festival in June. Tickets for next year's festival go on sale on Friday (December 3) at 9am. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Foo Fighters End Adele's UK Album Chart Reign (17.04.2011)
