Tinie Tempah Tops UK Singles ChartOctober 3, 2010
Tinie Tempah has topped the UK singles chart with his latest track, ‘Written In the Stars’.
The British rapper’s third single sold 115,000 copies in its first week of release. Labrinth, who produced Tempah’s first two singles, was a new entry at number three with ‘Let The Sunshine’. And Adele’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’ was a surprise re-entry at number four after being featured on The X Factor. Meanwhile, in the album chart, The Script returned to number one with ‘Science & Faith’. Mark Ronson & The Business Int. went straight in at number two with ‘Record Collection’, which is the producer's follow-up to 2007 'Version'. KT Tunstall scored her third Top 5 album with ‘Tiger Suit’ charting at number five, while Eric Clapton’s ‘Clapton’ debuted at number seven.
