Kanye West has said he has finishing recording his new album but has not yet decided when to release it.

On Tuesday (September 28), US reports claimed the rapper had scheduled the as-yet-untitled album to come out on November 22.

The release date would see West go head-to-head with the much anticipated debut from Nicki Minaj.

But in a message on Twitter, West said he was “still contemplating” when to release his fifth album.

“I'm finished with it but when should I drop?” he added.

The follow-up to 2008’s ‘808s And Heartbreak’ will feature the singles ‘Power’ and ‘Runaway’.

In recent weeks, the rapper has also released a host of new tracks as part of his Good Friday series, including a new collaboration with Jay-Z.
