Eminem Joined By Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Jay-Z At Huge Detroit GigSeptember 3, 2010
Eminem was joined by Dr Dre and Jay-Z as he headlined a historic gig in Detroit last night (September 2).
The rapper thrilled fans with a star-studded 33-song set at the city's Comerica Park baseball stadium. Arriving on stage after a full support slot from Jay-Z and B.o.B, Eminem played for around 100 minutes. "Goddamn it, Detroit, I'm back, man," he told fans from the stage. His career-spanning set included recent Rihanna-featuring single 'Love The Way You Lie', as well as the classics 'My Name Is', 'Without Me' and 'The Real Slim Shady'. But it was the rapper's performances with his guest stars that attracted the biggest crowd reactions. According to Billboard, Drake and Eminem played 'Forever' together, before 50 Cent appeared on stage for 'Patiently Waiting'. Dr Dre, who has produced much of Eminem's most acclaimed work, and Eminem also performed 'Still Dre' and 'Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang' together. There were also appearances from B.o.B and D12. Eminem and Jay-Z are set to play the venue again tonight (September 3), before moving to New York' Yankee Stadium on September 13 and 14, where Jay-Z will headline.
