The Saturdays And Eminem On Course To Top UK ChartsAugust 11, 2010
The Saturdays look set to capture their first UK number one single, according midweek chart figures.
The all-female five-piece's song 'Missing You' will end Ne-Yo's one-week reign at the top of the singles chart. The US R&B star has fallen to number four with 'Beautiful Monster', according to the Official Chart Company's midweek update. Meanwhile, in the albums countdown, Arcade Fire are battling to hang on to the number one spot with 'The Suburbs'. The Montreal-based band are facing competition from former chart-topper 'Recovery' by Eminem, who is currently more than 200 copies ahead. 'The Suburbs' is Arcade Fire's third album and first number one in the UK. The Official UK Chart is unveiled at 7pm every Sunday.
