Weezer have unveiled the artwork for their new album 'Hurley', which is released on September 13. The album, which is the follow-up to 2009's 'Raditude', features a picture of actor Jorge Garcia, who played Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes in Lost. 
The Cribs have released a special one-off single, entitled 'Housewife'. The new track was recorded in London and is available now on seven-inch single and digital download. 
The Libertines have confirmed plans to play a warm-up gig ahead of their appearance at this month's Reading and Leeds festivals. The band will perform at the Forum in London on August 25. Tickets will be available via ballot for fans who register on Thelibertines.com. 
I Blame Coco has announced details of her debut album 'The Constant'. The album, which is released on October 4, has been produced by Klas Ahlund and Dan Foat. 
Van Halen are recording a new studio album with original singer David Lee Roth, it's been reported. The band are understood to have reunited with their former vocalist twenty-six years after they parted company. 
Egyptian Hip Hop have announced details of a UK tour, which is due to get under way in Wrexham on October 10. The band will play eleven dates, including gigs in Sheffield (October 20), Bristol (30) and London (November 4). 
An upcoming episode of the hit US TV show Glee will be dedicated to George Michael. The show's cast will sing a series of the star's hits during the episode, which will form part of the second series. 
Jay-Z has said that his forthcoming memoirs will reveal more about him that his music. The book, entitled Decoded, will trace the rapper's rise from Brooklyn's Marcy Projects to hip-hop super stardom. 
The Wombats have announced details of their new single 'Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves). The track, which is taken from the Liverpool trio's upcoming second album, will be released on September 27. 
Former Smiths star and The Cribs guitarist Johnny Marr has written the theme song for a new TV sitcom. The song, entitled 'Life Is Sweet', will appear at the start of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

Actor Mark Wahlberg has said he may reignite his career as rapper Marky Mark if it meant being able to work with Justin Bieber. Wahlberg found fame in the early 90s recording as Marky Mark and the Funky Beach. 
A video of Justin Bieber being bottled at a gig has emerged online. The incident occurred as the 16-year-old teenage hip-hop sensation tried to address the crowd during a gig in Sacramento. 
The Bees have announced details of their new album, 'Every Step's A Yes'. The Isle of Wight band's 10-ten track follow-up to 2007's 'Octopus' will be released on October 11. 
Katy Perry has signed a deal with an Australian ice cream company to help promote her new album. Visitors to select ice cream parlors in Sydney and Melbourne who say Perry's name on the day of the album's release – August 27 – will be rewarded with a free cotton candy ice cream. 
Goldie Lookin Chain have hit back at a recent spoof of rapper Jay-Z's 'Empire State Of Mind'. The Welsh hip-cop collective claim the parody, entitled 'Newport (Ymerodraeth State Of Mind)', misrepresents their city.
