Interpol will support U2 on the upcoming US leg of their 360 degree world tour. The New York band, who are currently recording a new album, will play six gigs, starting in Minneapolis on June 27. 
Muse have launched a new application for the Apple iPhone, which gives fans access to exclusive picture and video content. The Muse App, which is available via the iTunes music store, also lists the band's tour dates and provides access the their forum. 
Sir Paul McCartney has announced details of two US gigs, including a show at the Hollywood Bowl. The former Beatle will perform at the iconic Los Angeles venue on March 30. 
A flurry of acts have been newly confirmed for this summer's Isle Of Wight Festival. Noah and the Whale, Devendra Banhart, The Brilliant Things and The Arcadian Kicks will play the Big Top arena on the Saturday. 
Giggs has cancelled his upcoming UK tour after concerns potential fears were raised over fans' safety. The hotly-tipped rapper, from Peckham, London was due to embark on the ten date jaunt, starting in Birmingham on Wednesday (February 24). 
Bombay Bicycle Club have announced details of a one-off gig in London in April. The band will play their biggest headline show to date at Kentish Town Forum on April 24. 
Muse's Chris Wolstenholme says he may miss the band's headline slot at T in the Park this summer if England make the World Cup final in South Africa. The culmination of football's biggest event will take place at Soccer City in Johannesburg on July 11th – the weekend Muse are headlining T in the Park. 
Eminem, Muse and Kasabian will headline this year's T in the Park Festival. The official line-up has been unveiled today for the annual Scottish extravaganza and it's looking pretty good so far. 
Vampire Weekend have been added to the bill for this summer's Rockness festival in Scotland. The band will support headliners The Strokes on the final night of the event, which runs from June 11-13.
