Michael Jackson's doctor will no longer surrender today following an apparent breakdown in negotiations between prosecutors and police, it's been reported. Dr Conrad Murray had been expected to hand himself over to authorities to face a charge of involuntary manslaughter. 
Drake has said rappers will have to “work a lot harder to keep hip-hop exciting” while Lil' Wayne is in prison. Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr, is expected to be sentenced to eight months behind bars for gun possession later this month. 
Fresh from news emerging about his appearance on the new Liars album, Thom Yorke has been unveiled as a very special guest on the new Flying Lotus record 'Cosmogramma'. The Radiohead singer appears on a track '...And the World Laughs With You', while vocalist Laura Darlington will also guest with Flying Lotus once again. 
Lady GaGa has revealed that she never agreed to feature on the remake of 'We Are The World'. Recent US media reports claimed the singer had signed up for the Lionel Richie-organised charity single, which aims to raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. 
Kate Nash has embraced punk music and sixties girl group music on her upcoming second album, the singer was revealed. The 22-year-old Londoner says the new sounds comes with “being older” and she has “grown up a lot.” 
Liam Gallagher has ruled out calling his new band Oasis, describing the name as “shit”. In December, the singer suggested that he would retain his former band's name if he failed to come up with anything better. 
AC/DC singer Brian Johnson has hit out at music stars like Bono, Sir Bob Geldof and Chris Martin for telling gig-goers to donate money to charity. The 62-year-old rocker believes such stars should dig deep in their pockets rather than preach to the more cash-strapped. 
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are to release a special limited edition 7” vinyl of 'Skeletons'. Due out on March 1, the 500 individually numbered copies feature an artwork image taken by guitarist Nick Zinner. 
Actor Mathew Horne has been cast in a new BBC drama about Boy George, which charts the singer's rise to stardom. The Gavin and Stacy star will play Culture Club drummer Jon Moss in the 90-minute drama, entitled Worried About The Boy.
