Kanye West and Lady GaGa's Fame Kills tour has been cancelled, just days after dates for the jaunt were officially confirmed. Concert promoter Live Nation made the announcement on Thursday, but failed to offer further explanation. 
50 Cent has apologised for calling Kanye West and Lady GaGa's cancelled Fame Kills tour “the gay tour”. The rapper made the comment during an interview on New York radio station Hot 97 on Wednesday. 
Michael Jackson was in general good health when he died in June, although scars were found on his body. Details of the 50-year-old singer's condition have emerged in a leaked coroner's report. 
Liam Gallagher has lent his support to the campaign to save Britain's honeybees. The Oasis rocker teamed up with a man in a giant bee outfit to promote the film Vanishing of the Bees which highlights the effect pesticides are having on the dwindling bee collection. 
Wayne Coyne has said he would never take hard drugs after watching his bandmate Steven Drozd's battle with heroin addiction. He said “I don't take drugs myself but I'm not against some experimentation. I think artistic and creative people are interested in all kinds of experiences. 
Carl Barat says The Libertines won't reform until at least 2011 as he's too busy working on his solo album. His former band mate, Pete Doherty, had previously stated that the Libertines would get back together for the 2010 festivals, but in the light of Barat's comments that now seems highly unlikely. 
50 Cent has unveiled the cover to his new album 'Before I Self Destruct' via Twitter. The heavily photoshopped image depicts Curtis' face with one half a volcanic, almost planetary surface. 
U2 have hinted that they may feature on the album for the musical adaptation of Spider-Man. Singer Bono and guitarist The Edge have recorded lyrics and music for the production, which is due to open next February on Broadway. 
Jay-Z shot the video for new single 'Empire State Of Mind' near Ground Zero in New York on Thursday. Alicia Keys, who sings the track's chrous, also joined the rapper at the Hype Williams-directed video shoot.
