Dizzee Rascal wowed the crowds at Jersey Live as he delivered a raucous set on the main stage last night (September 5). Despite playing one slot before headliners Basement Jaxx, the rapper proved to be the big draw on the opening day of the Channel Island festival. 
Liam Gallagher will reportedly continue fronting Oasis without his older brother Noel. The younger sibling doesn't want to disband the legendary rock n' roll group despite main songwriter Noel quitting after a huge row in Paris last month. 
Pete Doherty has admitted that he tried to commit suicide on the night of his 30th birthday earlier this year. The Babyshambles singer celebrated his milestone with a party in Paris on March 12 and got through a bottle of vodka before trying to jump off his hotel roof. 
Public Image Ltd. Have reformed and will play a series of dates across Britain in December to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album 'Metal Box'. The band, fronted as ever by John Lydon, will be completed by Lu Edmonds of The Damned, bassist Scott Firth and former Slits drummer Bruce Smith. 
'Poker Face' by Lady Gaga is the most downloaded song in UK chart history according to statistics released today. According to the Official UK Charts Company 'Poker Face' has been downloaded 779,000 times whilst 'Just Dance', Gaga's first single, is the third most downloaded with 700,000. 
Arctic Monkeys have announced details of a 10-date UK and Ireland tour for this November. The dates kick-off at the Liverpool Echo Arena on November 13 and wind up at the Dublin O2 a fortnight later. 
Lady GaGa launched her own earphones range at the International Electronic Consumer Show in Berlin earlier today alongside Dr Dre. Hip-hop mogul Dre – real name Andre Young – unveiled his original Beats Headphones range back in the summer of 2008 to great acclaim. 
Stereophonics have announced the release date of their seventh studio album and details of a special homecoming show. The snappily titled 'Keep Calm and Carry On' is released through V2 Records on November 16.
