Michael Jackson has finally been laid to rest more than two months after his death at a private ceremony in Los Angeles. The singer's family and specially invited friends, including Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Macaulay Culkin, were among mourners at the Forest Lawn cemetery. 
Echo and the Bunnymen's former keyboardist Jake Brockman has died in a motorbike crash on the Isle of Man. The 53-year-old died when his motorbike collided with a converted ambulance on the outskirts of the village of Kirk Michael. 
Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson played a hits-filled set at the The Roundhouse in Camden, North London last night. The sprawling set of over 30 songs featured Beach Boys classics such as 'God Only Knows', 'Surfin USA', 'Good Vibrations' and 'Wouldn't It Be Nice'. 
Paramore covered Kings Of Leon's 'Use Somebody' live on Radio One earlier today (September 4). The Tennessee band appeared on the Jo Whiley Live Lounge this morning and explained they wanted to perform the song because Kings of Leon are from “nearby our home town.”
