Yeasayer have added an additional date to their October UK tour.

The US band will now play Trent University in Nottingham on October 22, as well as five previously announce dates.

Meanwhile, Yeasayer are set to release their new single ‘Madder Red’ on September 13. The track featured on their second album ‘Odd Blood’.

Tickets are on sale now.

Yesayer’s UK tour dates are:

• Manchester, Academy - 20
• London, Roundhouse - 21
• Nottingham, Trent University - 22
• Newcastle, Academy - 23
• Glasgow, ABC - 24
