Eminem has said he is ready to “rock” crowds at Scotland's T in the Park and Oxegen in Dublin this summer.

The two outdoor events form part of a brief mini-European tour, which also includes an appearance at the Openair festival in Switzerland.

The rapper will be joined at all of the July dates by his group D12.

In a statement, Eminem said: "I'm excited to get back to Europe to rock some shows.

“The crowds there are always big, crazy and dedicated…it's going to be great to feel that energy again."

Eminem's European jaunt, which gets under way at T in the Park, will be his first in five years.

The rapper returned to music last year with 'Relapse' and is expected to release a sequel to the album later this year.
