Jay-Z: 'JLS Are Destined To Be Bigger Than 'N Sync'

February 18, 2010
Jay-Z: 'JLS Are Destined To Be Bigger Than 'N Sync'Jay-Z has said he believes former X Factor stars JLS will go on to be bigger than US boy band 'N Sync.

The rapper was among the audience as JLS won Best British Breakthrough at the BRIT Awards in London on Tuesday.

He also saw the group perform 'Beat Again', which was named Best British Single.

In an interview with The Sun, Jay-Z said: "I liked JLS, I watched them do their show. They're a good band and remind me of 'N Sync, a band who do the boy band thing well.

"They put on a class performance and I think they will go on to be as big as 'N Sync.”

JLS, who came runners up on The X Factor two years ago, went on to celebrate their victory with Jay-Z at an exclusive London nightspot.
