Death Cab For Cutie have unveiled the video for new single 'Meet Me On The Equinox', which is taken from the Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack.

The video mixes footage of the band performing with clips from the highly anticpated film, which is released on November 20.

Bassist Nick Harmer said recently that it was a coincidence the band's lyrical influences suited the vampire film so well.

“Basically the Twilight series is about love, and that's a major theme for us,” he said. “So, it wasn't difficult for us at all."

The soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon also features songs by Muse, Thom Yorke and Editors.

It is due to be released ahead of the film, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
