Slipknot's drummer Joey Jordison has been hospitalised, forcing the Iowa metal act to cancel their show at the White River Ampitheater in Seattle last night.

A brief statement on their website reads: “Tonight's show in Seattle was canceled as Joey Jordison was taken to the hospital for health reasons.

“No further shows will be canceled. We anticipate Joey making a full recovery and continuing the tour in Kennewick, WA on Sunday.”

As reported earlier, Oasis have been forced to cancel their headline slot at V Festival Chelmsord tonight after singer Liam Gallagher was struck down with viral laryngitis.
