Interpol's Paul Banks To Release Solo AlbumMay 6, 2009
Interpol's Paul Banks is set to release a solo album this summer under the moniker of Julian Plenti.
The record, entitled 'Skyscraper', will be released on August 4 via Matador with the material being described as having a “cocky, sexy” feel. According to Billboard, Banks has been recording songs under the Plenti name for several years and some of the tracks from the album were written up to ten years ago.
