Pearl Jam To Self-Release New Album This Year

February 6, 2009
Pearl Jam To Self-Release New Album This YearPearl Jam are set to return to the studio this year to record new material, frontman Eddie Vedder has said.

Vedder said the group planned to self-release their new album, which will be produced by Brendan O’Brien.

“The new record feels good so far — really strong and uptempo, stuff we can sink our teeth into,” Vedder told Rolling Stone.

As previously reported, Vedder will join Sir Paul McCartney at a benefit concert in New York this April.

Sheryl Crow, Donovan, Paul Horn and Moby are also set to appear at the David Lynch Foundation event at Radio City Music Hall.
