White Lies' Debut Tops UK Album ChartJanuary 26, 2009
White Lies have gone straight in at number one on the UK charts with their debut album ‘To Lose My Life’.
The west-London band forced last week’s chart toppers The Script into third. Kings of Leon were a non-mover at number two with ‘Only By The Night’, while Lady GaGa’s ‘The Fame’ fell one place to four. The top-five was completed by James Morrison’s ‘Songs For You, Truths For Me’. In the singles chart, Lady GaGa’s ‘Just Dance’ held onto the top spot, with Kid Cudi’s ‘Day N’ Nite’ also a non-mover at number two.
