The Rakes have announced details of their forthcoming third album, 'Klang'.

The record, released on March 23rd, will be preceded a week earlier by the single '1989'.

Meanwhile, the band will embark on a short UK club tour in April which includes shows in Brighton and London.

The Rakes tour dates are:

• Portsmouth, Wedgwood Rooms - 22
• Manchester, Club Academy - 23
• Glasgow, Oran Mor - 25
• Newcastle, Cluny - 26
• Nottingham, Rescue Rooms - 28
