Groove Armada To Retire As Live Act After UK TourSeptember 21, 2010
Groove Armada are to retire as a live act following the conclusion of their upcoming UK and Australian tours.
The dance duo of Tom Findlay and Andy Cato said the gigs would be their last ever as a full band. “We’ve crossed and re-crossed the world with this band and crew,” they said in a statement. “There’s no other team like it. With their help, GA live became the sound of legendary nights from Mount Fuji to Moscow.” They added: “A massive thanks to all of them, for staying with us on a journey from Richie Havens to Saint Saviour.” Groove Armada's UK tour kicks off in Leeds on October 7.
