The Libertines Offered 2011 Gigs, Pete Doherty RevealsFebruary 2, 2011
Peter Doherty has revealed that The Libertines have had offers to perform again together this year.
The singer made the admission in a blog on his website during which he recalled a phone call he had shared with his manager last year. He said his manager told him he had received “some offers for Libertines gigs next year”. It is not clear whether any of these have been booked. Doherty reformed with former Libertines bandmates Carl Barat, Gary Powell and John Hassell to play the Reading and Leeds festival last year. Meanwhile, Doherty appeared at a preliminary hearing today (February 2) to deny a charge of cocaine possession. He is due back in court in March.
