Nas Recording New Album With Damian MarleyFebruary 11, 2009
Nas is planning to release an as yet untitled album with Reggae star Damian Marley according to his manager.
The rapper revealed last week that he is currently working on a number of projects and now the details of at least one of them are starting to emerge. According to Billboard Nas' manager, Anthony Saleh, told them that the pair have been recording in Los Angeles for several weeks and that the record is likely to be out this Spring. He said: "We've been recording in a studio, where people like Mick Jagger are recording. No one knew who we were. "We're going to Miami this week to finish it up and we're aiming to tour for the album this summer." There are also plans to use some of the money made from the album to build a school in Africa with details of the project currently being “solidified”.
