Elton John Tells Billy Joel To Seek RehabSir Elton John has told Billy Joel to seek help to curb his “alcoholism”.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the singer said the pair had been forced to cancel many joint tours over the years due to Joel's troubles.

Sir Elton said Joel would “hate” him for his public comments, but that he needed to be told. He also said the singer should follow his example and undertake a more hands-on rehabilitation.

Joel, famous for his hit 'Uptown Girl', spent a month undergoing treatment for alcohol abuse in California in 2005.

A spokesperson for the musician was unable to return a request for comment from the Associated Press.
