The Enemy Have 30 Songs Finished For Second AlbumAugust 28, 2008
The Enemy's bassist Andy Hopkins has revealed that the group will have 30 songs to choose from when they enter the studio to record their second album.
The Coventry three piece, who topped the charts with their debut 'We'll Live and Die in These Towns' last year, finished their current tour schedule at last weekend's Reading and Leeds Festivals. But despite their vast number of new tracks, Hopkins said they were in no rush to return to the studio. "We don't want to set a date and rush it. Whenever we're happy with it we will release it. We're hoping it will be out sometime next year but we'll have to wait and see,” he told the BBC. He added: "We've got literally about 30 tunes. We're picking the best of them at the minute but we keep writing more.” (by Jason Gregory) See also: The Enemy To Play Hogmanay Street Party In Edinburgh (11.11.2009)
