Florence & The Machine, Interpol To Support U2 On 2011 US TourSeptember 30, 2010
Florence & The Machine and Interpol are set to open for U2 on their 2011 US tour, it's been announced.
Snow Patrol, The Fray and Lenny Kravitz will also support the Irish band on select dates during the jaunt, which gets under way on May 21 in Denver. Florence & The Machine will open in East Lansing (June 26) and Miami (29), while Interpol provide support at seven shows in July. The gigs, which are part of the U2's 360 Degree world tour, were originally due to take place this year but were postponed when singer Bono injured his back. U2 are currently coming to the end of a run of shows in Europe. (by Jason Gregory) See also: U2 Promise 'Glastonbury On Steroids' Performance (28.04.2011)
