Barack Obama To Present Stevie Wonder With The Gershwin PrizeFebruary 17, 2009
Stevie Wonder is set to be awarded the Second Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by new American President, Barack Obama later this month.
The prize giving will come at a special concert in the East Room of the White House on February 25 as part of the celebrations for African American History Month. Wonder will be joined by other other, to be announced, performers for the concert which will be aired on PBS in the US as Stevie Wonder In Performance At The White House: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize.
