Piers Morgan Lashes Out At Madonna, Bigs Up Lady Gaga

Piers Morgan has hit out at Madonna as he prepares to replace Larry King on CNN in America.

The former Daily Mirror newspaper editor said the singer wasn’t invited on his new programme because she was “so boring”.

He told the Daily Express: "She is too vegan for TV. We have Lady Gaga now so Madonna is banned from my show."

Morgan is understood to have made the remark at a party in London held to celebrate his new show.

But Madonna’s publicist said the singer was unfazed by the comment.

Madonna doesn't know who Piers Morgan is but she's a big fan of Lady Gaga,” Liz Rosenberg told Popeater.

Morgan’s new show is due to begin in January 2011.
