John Lydon 'It's Too Easy To Take Potshots At The Royal Family'February 25, 2010
John Lydon says he would like to make a documentary showing the “good side” of the Royal Family.
33 years on from releasing the punk classic 'God Save The Queen' with The Sex Pistols, Lydon seems to have changed his view on the monarchy. According to The Sun, he said: "I'd like to get to the inner truth of the Royal Family. For years I've wanted to do a documentary asking how they got there and what makes them so superior. "Now I'd like to put the other side, too. The good that they do. It's too easy to take potshots at them." Last month a Facebook group was set up urging people to buy 'God Save The Queen' this June in a bid to get it to the top spot for the Queen's silver jubilee. So far it has attracted 37,000 'fans' and looks unlikely to make a significant impact on the charts. (by Scott Colothan) See also: Sex Pistols' John Lydon To Release Scrapbook (20.10.2010)
