Everything Everything Cancel Gig Because Venue 'Hasn't Been Built'September 15, 2010
Everything Everything have been forced to cancel their gig at new London venue XOYO tonight (September 15).
In a post on Twitter, the band said the gig had been called off because “the venue hasn't been built yet”. And in a full statement, Everything Everything added: “The local council have prevented the venue opening in circumstances beyond the bands control.” DJs Andrew Weatherall and Casper C were also due to perform tonight. Ticket holders have been advised to go to their point of purchase. In a statement, the venue said: "thWith regret, XOYO is having to postpone its launch tonight due to unforeseen technical issues at the venue. "XOYO apologises sincerely for any inconvenience this may cause people planning to attend this evening. The team are aiming for this to be resolved within the next 24 hours and all ticket holders will be refunded."
