50 Cent Makes $8.7Million On TwitterJanuary 11, 2011
50 Cent made $8.7million at the weekend after posting a series of messages on Twitter.
The rapper helped boost the shares of the cash-strapped ventured H&H, which owns US reality star Kevin Harrington’s marketing firm, TV Goods, by 290 percent. "You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford," 50 Cent told his 3.8million Twitter followers, assuring them that it was “no joke”. The rapper received 30million shares in H&H following a private placement last year, reports the New York Post. Earlier this month, he has also endorsed a line of mobile audience products which TV Goods owns the marketing rights to. On Monday (January 10), shares in H&H close at 29 cents, up 39 cents, thanks to 50 Cent’s Twitter messages. (by Jason Gregory) See also: 50 Cent Pays Tribute To Nate Dogg (16.03.2011)
