Radiohead Ask Their Fans To Make Animated VideoMarch 21, 2008
Radiohead are calling upon their legions of fans to make an animated music video for any song on ‘In Rainbows.’
The competition is being hosted by the website aniboom.com, with Thom Yorke and co. personally judging the best video in the final stage of the contest. There are a total of four different stages with the eventual winner scooping a massive $10,000 to make their video a reality. Entrants for the first stage simply need to enter a storyboard containing their ideas. The competition is open for new entrants until April 27, when the ideas will be on display for visitors to rank on the website. The second stage will see a panel of judges from Aniboom, TBD Records (Radiohead’s US label) and Adult Swim whittle down the list to the final ten. When the semi-finals have taken place, Radiohead will then choose the ultimate winner. You can view a fan's video of 'All I Need' HERE.
