Radiohead 'Might Throw Out New Album'September 24, 2010
Radiohead drummer Phil Selway has said the band's new album is currently “all up in the air”.
The Oxford group are due to return to the studio on Monday (September 27) to continue work on the follow-up to 2007's 'In Rainbows' after taking the summer off. Last week, bassist Colin Greenwood spoke favourably of their work so far, but Selway has now cast doubt over the project. "We might just throw this all out," he told the Canadian Press. "It's all up in the air." He added that Radiohead would be “taking stock” when they returned to the studio next week. “We're just returning to it with fresh ears and taking stock of where we are and how close we are to finishing stuff, really, and we won't know till Monday,” he added. In an editorial last week, Greenwood said the band had “yet to decide how to release our next record”. Selway is currently promoting his debut solo album, 'Familial'.
