August 31, 2009
Radiohead's Thom Yorke 'To Release Two New Songs In September'Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is to release a limited edition 12-inch on September 22, it’s been reported.

The special vinyl will comprise of two new songs, ‘Apart By Horses’ and ‘The Hollow Earth’, according to Exclaim.

The US website reported that ATO sub-label TBD Records would handle the release, which will be limited to 4,000 copies in Europe, 4,000 copies in North America and 300 in Canada.

A source said the vinyl package will feature “really awesome packaging and artwork”.

There is also speculation that ‘The Hollow Earth’ could be Yorke’s contribution to the Twilight sequel, New Moon.

Chris Weitz, the director of the forthcoming vampire movie, recently confirmed Yorke's participation in the project.

The report comes just weeks after Radiohead released two new songs – ‘Harry Patch (In Memory Of)’ and ‘These Are My Twisted Words’ – as downloads.
