Radiohead: 'Making A New Album Would Kill Us'

August 11, 2009
Radiohead: 'Making A New Album Would Kill Us'Thom Yorke says Radiohead may stop releasing full-length albums as they fear the process will “kill” them.

In an interview with American magazine The Believer, the 40-year-old singer explained that the process of making records had become a “real drag” to them and that 'In Rainbows' only worked as they had a “fixed idea” of where they were going in the studio.

He told the mag: “None of us want to go into that creative hoo-ha of a long-play record again. Not straight off.”

Continuing about the process of recording albums, Yorke added: “We've (Radiohead) all said that we can't possibly dive into that again. It'll kill us."

Radiohead recently released a download single 'Harry Patch (In Memory Of)' in honour of the last surviving Tommy from World War 1. All profits go to the British Legion.
