LCD Soundsystem Launch Attack On Ticket Touts Over Final Gig

February 10, 2011
LCD Soundsystem Launch Attack On Ticket Touts Over Final GigLCD Soundsystem have launched an attack on ticket touts after tickets for their last gig are being sold for $1,5000.

The band, fronted by James Murphy, recently announced that their gig at Madison Square Garden on April 2 would be “our last show ever”.

It seems that their fans are willing to pay over $1,500 off ticket touts to see the band.

LCD Soundsystem hit out at ticket toutes over their Twitter: "1500 for a single ticket? **** you, scalpers. You are parasites. I HATE you."

"i will try to figure a way out to **** these ****ers. NO MATTER WHAT WE DO, IT IS NOT WORTH THAT KIND OF MONEY TO SEE US!"

In a statement issued by the band they asked fans to turn up in all white, black or black and white, adding: “If it’s a funeral, let’s have the best funeral ever!!!”

Tickets go on sale on Friday (February 11).
