December 1, 2010
Frankie & The Heartstrings Announce New Album 'Hunger' And Release DateFrankie & The Heartstrings have announced that their debut album will be called 'Hunger'.

The LP is due out on February 21 and will be preceded a week earlier (14) by a single of the same name.

The record was produced by Edwyn Collins, who said it had been “amazing and magnificent to work with the wonders of Sunderland”.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, Frankie & The Heartstrings will play three special gigs in December.

The band, who are currently recording their debut album, will kick off the Christmas shows in Sunderland on December 2.

Dates are also scheduled for Salford Lads Club on December 3 and Bethnal Green Working Mens Club in London on December 6.
