Vampire Weekend Announce Second London Gig In December

Vampire Weekend Announce Second London Gig In DecemberVampire Weekend have announced details of an additional show at London's Alexandra Palace.

The band will now play the venue on December 3 after the previously announced show on December 2 sold out.

They will be support at the new date by Janelle Monae and Ratatat, while Laura Marling will play the opening night.

The two gigs form part of Vampire Weekend's winter UK tour, which also includes show s in Edinburgh (November 28) and Brighton (December 1).

Tickets for the second London date go on sale on Friday (August 6) at 9am.

Vampire Weekend's UK tour dates are:

  • Blackpool, Empress Ballroom Arena – November 25
  • Wolverhampton, Civic Hall Bar - 26
  • Edinburgh, Corn Exchange - 28
  • Sheffield, Academy - 29
  • Brighton, Centre – December 1
  • London, Alexandra Palace – 2/3
